Redefining Data Boundaries

In an era characterised by the ubiquity of data systems and infrastructures, the Redefining Data Boundaries track invites submissions that take into account the ever-shifting dynamics between data, humans, and non-humans in our complex societies. Redefining the boundaries of data encompasses extending the complex terrain of our human and non-human-data engagements, putting the ethical implications of our data practices to the foreground, challenging the role of information in our current and future societies, experimenting with shaping artistic identities and outputs, and thinking beyond the digital towards physical and spatial everyday data environments. Shifting data boundaries establishes a connection between interactions, ethics, and creativity within the expansive and dynamic data ecosystem. Together, we will navigate this ever-changing landscape, establishing a trajectory towards conscientious, ground-breaking, and paradigm-shifting prospects within a global context where the flow of information continues to prevail.
